The 2nd Seminar on Stan-dardization Cooperation in Northeast Asia (2003) was held in Beijing from Oct 30th - Oct 31st, which was the succession of the first one in Korea, 2002, with the participants coming from the standardization circles in China, Japan and Korea. The 2nd seminar was sponsored by Standardization Administration of P.R.C. (SAC) and organized by China Association for Standardization (CAS). Attended the semi- nar there were over 90 Chinese delegates from SAC, China Ministry of Railway, General Administration of Sports, China National Offshore Oil Corp. (CNOOC), China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC), provincial and municipal Bureaus of Quality & Technical Supervision, CAS, Standards Press of China, Legend Group Ltd., Jiangsu Yizheng Chemical Fibre Co. Ltd., Samsung's Digital China and other units; 6 Japanese delegates from Japan Ministry of E-conomy, Trade and Industry as well as Japanese Standards Asso- ciation (JSA); and 21 Korea dele-gates from Korea Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, Korean Standards Association (KSA), Korea Industrial Technology Foundation, Korea Pallet Association, Korea Association of Standards & Testing Organizations, and other units and institutes.
