摘要

It has been an important project in the field of biochemistry to search for a series of synthetic compounds which have good abilities of carrying oxygen at room temperature and simulating the hemoglobin's function of cooperative binding to oxygen. Uemori et al. and Tabushi et al. have reported that some dicobalt(II) diporphyrins have the cooperative effect of binding oxygen in organic solution below 0°C, the Hill coefficients are about 1.0--1.5. We have reported the thermodynamics of a dicobalt(II)diporphyrin binding to oxygen in N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF) at room temperature. It is the first time to report in this note the kinetics of reversible oxygen binding at room temperature by dicobalt(II) diporphyrin.
