摘要

Recently much effort has been made to study the thermolytic reactivity of organolanthanide complexes. These studies have mainly involved disproportionation, beta-hydrogen elimination, and other reactions but the C—H activation on the Cp (Cp = cyclopentadienyl) ring in thermolysis is yet unknown. To explore the new reactions, the thermolysis of Cp_2LnCl was studied. The authors report here the preliminary results of the unique reactivity of lanthanide metallocenes in gas phase, which gives the firststructurally authenticated lanthanocene-containing polymers.
