摘要

Ground-based remote sensing has been an important technique in the measurement of the mesosphere. This technique involves making high spectral resolution measurement of the predominantly pressure-broadening rotational spectra of the mesospheric molecules and then inverting the measured spectra to yield information on the vertical distribution of the molecular mixing ratio. Using this technique, we have measured and studied vertical distribution of the mesospheric ozone in 1989 cooperating with Nagoya University.
