A number of new business jets, for which specific forecasts have not been issued, are in various stages of research and development or are being considered for future development. Some of these programs are detailed in this report. Aerion Supersonic Business Jet. At the 2004 National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) convention, Nevada-based Aerion Corp unveiled a design for a 12-passenger, Mach 1.6 twin-engine supersonic business jet (SSBJ). The aircraft has a unit price of $80 million. By November 2010, Aerion had refundable commitments for more than 50 aircraft.
