Stagnant is the best way to describe the current state of the business jet market. The worst of the current market downturn may be over, but a recovery has yet to take hold.rnCollapse of the general economy and the world's financial markets in the fourth quarter of 2008 presaged an end to what had been a booming market for business jet aircraft. New orders became scarce, customers began deferring deliveries of aircraft, and cancellations started taking a serious toll on order backlogs.
