Being built in a wind channel with someof the highest wind speeds in the countrywill make the Roggeveld Wind Farm inthe Karoo undeniably one of the mostenergy-efficient wind farms to be constructedin South Africa to date. Whencompleted, this 147 MW wind farm willcontribute 555 000 MWh a year of cleanenergy to the national grid.
