Mass media reports that the United Kingdom s weather service, Met Office, was saying that global warming has stalled were not quite accurate, according to the Met Office's website. Although its decadal global temperature prediction for 2012 did predict a slower rate of increase in temperatures than its 2011 prediction, "both versions are consistent in predicting that we will continue to see near-record levels of global temperatures in the next few years," the agency's website states.
