On november 16, ASCE's president, Andrew W. Herrmann, P.E., SECB, F.ASCE, testified before the Joint Economic Committee about the economic effects of infrastructure on the manufacturing sector. The committee is chaired by Senator Robert P. Casey, Jr. (D-Pennsylvania), and in his testimony Herrmann described the link between the nation's economic competitiveness and its infrastructure network.
