A positive worldwide growth in demand - primarily from the construction sector - has resulted in JCB needing to appoint 600 additional new manufacturing jobs in the UK, according to JCB CEO MarkTumer.The new vacancies are in areas such as fabrication, paint sprayers and also in production line assembly.JCB has previously employed a large percentage of agency workers, but MarkTurner explained that in the first three months of this year, JCB awarded 200 agency staff a full time employment contract. "The future looks very bright for JCB as global demand for our machines continues to grow, which means great prospects for people who work with us," he said.
