Briggs specialises in both the short and long-term contract hire of fork lift trucks and other machinery, such as mobile access equipment with a common "working at height" theme.According to Steven Fogg, head of the short-term hire division, the trend is now firmly away from diesel-powered forklifts and towards electric units on environmental grounds, while the demand for conventional rough terrain fork trucks and roto-handlers also continues to be strong.
