The Clinical Research Facility was constructed in the University College Hospital Galway. The general objective was to reduce the environmental impact of the construction by improving the overall resource efficiency. BAM Ireland currently has a 90% recycling rate target in place for 2015 and aims to reduce CO_2 emissions, construction and demolition waste and office waste by 15% based on 2009 data.
