It used to be the case that manufacturers used an industry trade show to launch new products. And like when the Motor Show was held at Earls Court all those years ago, visitors could guarantee that there'd be exciting new products to see, every time. But it doesn't work like that anymore, partly because most of the products we use are designed and produced outside of the UK. What does this mean for the UK trade show visitor? There was no guarantee that loads of new kit would be on show. So, having prepared you for disappointment, it has to be said, the 2015 RWM event had more of a buzz about it than I was expecting. There were certainly more visitors on the first day-Tuesday-than in the past. And Wednesday was really busy. But ironically,Thursday morning would have been the best time to have done a deal, as many of the key people were still there, but with fewer visitors, there was time to talk!
