The Dorset Waste Partnership (DWP) joins together six waste collection authorities and the waste disposal authority. In 2012, the DWP launched the Recycle for Dorset collection service to replace the previous 12 systems across the county. The service is being rolled out to 200,000 households between 2012 and 2015. The campaign aims to increase Dorset's recycling rate from 50% to 65%, reduce landfill waste to less than 15%, improve customer satisfaction to more than 80% and drive down costs by £2m a year.
