Our headline news this month is the announcement of a three-day road show event, held in conjunction with Scarab Sweepers, and one of the main topics will be how to increase the utilisation of the humble road sweeper. Street washing is one of those operations that is not currently seen as essential in the UK, but a good washdown can offer many advantages. So if a dedicated street washer isn't a practical option, how about a demountable wash/brush head to replace the normal brushes on a compact sweeper? That's what the latest Scarab Azura offers and it aims to demonstrate the advantages of a "wash and brush-up" during the three events planned in April.
