A report on the Waste Strategy for England 2007 by the cross-party Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (EFRA) Select Committee has described the Government's knowledge of commercial and industrial (C&I) recycling rates as "patchy and outdated", stating that the Strategy has left England's "waste mountain" with "no clear targets for its reduction", adding that 90 percent of its waste has been left with no specific recycling targets.
