I'm sorry, but no-one looks that happy pushing a trolley round a supermarket, not even if they've just stumbled across the special offer aisle (well, maybe if the special offer aisle also happens to be the booze aisle, they might), but things are set to change in the world of supermarket special offers as the Government looks to draw a line under the days of BOGOF (buy one get one free).rnThat's not to say that all special offers will be withdrawn, but there has long been a school of thought that says they are one of the biggest problems we face when it comes to food waste. BOGOF offers are particularly to blame as we are enticecrnby the lure of a "free" product, whether we want it or not. How many times have you fallen foul of such a trick and ended up with two packets of something when one packet was probably already more than you needed?
