摘要

In this project wrinkle free finish with modified DMDHEU resin applied to fabric at different concentrations i-e 90g/l, 100g/l,115g/l and 125 g/l by adopting the application methods Pad-dry-cure. After finishing the treated sample were tested for :1.Tensile strength; 2.Tear strength; 3.DP; 4.Crease recovery angle. When applied pad-dry-cure technique both plain and twill cellulose fabric can form strong crosslink network with-in the microstructure of cellulose. The loss in strength due to crosslinking in cellulosic is generally attributed to the asymmetric distribution of load in crosslinked cotton compared to one which is not crosslinked. High concentration of durable press finishing of cotton fabric provides a high-quality copolymer wrinkle resistance. Also wrinkle recovery angle (WRA) increased by increasing finishing agent concentration.
