A study of green apparel brands in National Capital Region

摘要

The present day fashions have undergone various modifications to introduce some of the best fashionable clothing for men and women. The days are gone when a garment was picked up from the shelf for its look or style alone, now consumers also look for eco friendliness of the garments. The latest change in fashion today is "Green fashion". The focus of this paper is to study the availability of green products in organized retail outlets in National Capital Region during the year 2013-14. The three malls namely Great India Place, Noida; Select City Walk, New Delhi and Ambiance Mall, Gurgaon having high footfalls were explored for the availability of green products and the brands offering the green products. It was found that 23 brands were offering green products and the green products included kurti, one piece, shirt, jeans, lingerie, top and stole.
