The International Textile Machinery Exhibition TEXMAC INDIA is being postponed to after 2009. This is the reaction of Munich-based IMAG - Intemationaler Messe- und Ausstellungsdienst GmbH and its partners to the current economic situation in the textile machinery industry, which is registering a slump in orders of up to 60 percent worldwide. Due to the ongoing recession in the key markets of the US, EU and Japan, the Indian - and the international - textile industry is facing further difficult times ahead.
