Parts Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ, Ⅴ, Ⅵ, Ⅶ, Ⅷ, Ⅸ, Ⅹ, Ⅺ, Ⅻ, ⅩⅢ, ⅩⅣ, ⅩⅤ and ⅩⅥ in this series on INDIA ITME 2000, published in January, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December 2001 and January, February, March, May and August 2002 issues of COLOURAGE, have dealt with machinery for shearing and singeing, desizing & scouring, batch wise and continuous bleaching, mercerizing (parts Ⅳ and Ⅴ), jiggers & beam dyeing machines for batchwise dyeing in open width, jet dyeing machines, HT airflow machines, HT overflow/softflow machines, atmospheric overflow/softflow machines, the last four for batchwise dyeing in rope form, semi-continuous and continuous open width dyeing machines, laboratory dyeing machines, sample dyeing machines, systems and equipment for color matching and the first part of computerized automatic equipment and systems for dyeing production and dyehouse management for woven fabrics. Part ⅩⅦ is the second part of the topic discussed in installment ⅩⅥ, In this part, machines/systems of six more exhibitors are covered. These include some of the well known ones in this field - Lawer, Orintex and Pozzi, all of Italy besides Scholl and Sclavos with their international establishments. Latest control systems of Semitronik, an Indian company, are also featured here. Formulation of dyeing recipes, their preparation and controlled dosing are automated with precision to give benefits of quality and economy in dyeing. With automated monitoring and control of all dyeing parameters, human errors, dyebath additions and redyeing can practically be eliminated. As already mentioned in the earlier part, these automatic systems and equipment for dyeing production are essential for modem dyehouse management. The remaining exhibitors and their machines will appear in COLOURAGE as the next installment in this series.
