A ring R is called âsemicommutativeâ if any right annihilator over R is an ideal of R. We show that special subrings of upper triangular matrix rings over a reduced ring are maximal semicommutative. Consequently, new families of semicommutative rings are presented.View full textDownload full textKey WordsReduced ring, Semicommutative ring, Upper triangular matrix ring2000 Mathematics Subject ClassificationPrimary 16S50, Secondary 16U80Related var addthis_config = { ui_cobrand: "Taylor & Francis Online", services_compact: "citeulike, netvibes, twitter, technorati, delicious, linkedin, facebook, stumbleupon, digg, google, more", pubid: "ra-4dff56cd6bb1830b" }; Add to shortlist Link Permalink http://dx.doi.org/10.1080/00927870701649374
