摘要

Constrained torsional analysis of Multi cell tapered beams having different layup configurations, different composite materials, different taper ratios, different lengths, and under different loading intensity have been analyzed analytically. All the tapered beams analyzed are of three cell closed cross section under cantilever configuration. It has been shown that torsional behavior of the multi cell tapered beams is affected by layup, geometry, material, length and torque changes. Best suited stacking sequence and composite material under constrained torsion loading is also suggested in this work.
