Thanks for the warning about Microsoft's plan to ditch passwords ('Question of the Fortnight', Issue 545). I have no intention of signing in with my face or fingerprint because, no matter how secure Microsoft says it is, there will always be lowlifes trying to hack the system. Instead I'm using this news as an excuse to finally sign up to a password manager, rather than rely on my father's middle name backwards, followed by his date of birth.
