摘要

We present a multiscale plate element for the analysis of solid, waffle and hollowcore reinforced concrete slabs based on the higher order computational continua (HC2) formulation. The salient features of the proposed formulation are: (i) the ability to consider large representative volume elements (RVE) characteristic to waffle and hollowcore slabs, (ii) versatility stemming from the ease of handling damage and prestressing, and (iii) computational efficiency resulting from model reduction, combined with the well-established damage law rescaling method that yields simulation results nearly mesh-size independent. The multiscale formulation has been validated against experimental data for solid, hollowcore and waffle reinforced concrete slabs with and without prestressing. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V.
