If you bought a new pc in the last year or so, it probably came with Windows Vista. But what if you've got software that doesn't get along with it? Or maybe you've tried Vista and decided it's not your cup of tea. Whatever the case, there's a solution: You can configure your PC to dual-boot, running your choice of operating system every time you fire it up. That way, you can get to know Vista while still having the comfy trappings of XP at hand-or perhaps even dabble with Linux, if you'd like to try it without an all-out commitment. All you need are the appropriate operating-system CDs and an hour or two of free time.
