Certain projects can be challenging for those who like to include as much glass as possible. In museums, for example, daylight penetration is generally limited to protect the exhibited artifacts from fading. In one case, this did not stop an architect from designing more than an acre of sloped glazing over the museum building. While this glass remained wisely hidden behind the ceiling, the result was still an attic space that was large, inaccessible, and very expensive to cool or heat.
