Sara Lee's Senseo coffee-pod pouch packaging has switched from gravure to high-definition f lexographic (HD flexo) printing on matte and metallized films through a tasty makeover by Oshkosh, WI-based printer/converter Curwood, Inc..rn"Senseo pouches were previously printed exclusively in Europe using rotogravure technology," says Curwood market manager Sarah Averkamp. "HD flexo allows us to provide Senseo with a look that rivals their previous package, with the added benefits of [flexo's] cost efficiency and flexibility."
