Alternative to all-plastic clamshells easier to open Natralock R combines laminated paperboard and a transparent APET or RPET thermoform for a PVC-clamshell alternative. Reportedly using SO- to 60-percent less plastic, it can include up to 50 percent recycled content. A clear bubble keeps the product visible and is surrounded by glare-free paperboard that eliminates the need for printed inserts. Co. says Natralock withstands the same shipping and handling as clamshells but is easier to open with scissors after purchased.
