Co.'s new support roll dryer offers easy access to all nozzles and to the various internal air ducts, which is an important feature for silicone coating lines that require cleaning. Its precise controlled drive system assures flawless web-guidance of thin substrates in all production situations, co says. The system also allows for quick stops without web breaks and uncontrolled web run-out of the support rolls. The SpeedMax model features a compact integrated air-handling and recircu-lation system that helps reduce energy loss and the number of required air ducts. The dryer reportedly reaches production speeds of up to 1,000 m/min and has a temperature range capable of reaching 250 deg C.
