From the enthusiasm of both speakers and audience members alike, the future for ultraviolet/electron-beam packaging applications is glowing with promise based on presentations during the e/5: UV/EB 2004 Technology Expo and Conference. Organized by Chevy Chase, MD-based RadTech Intl. North America, the event was held May 3-5 at the Charlotte Convention Ctr. Along with three days of technical and marketing programs, e/5 included nearly 140 exhibitors filling 100,000 sq ft of display space. About 2,600 radiation-curing professionals in a broad range of industries attended.
