1. The x-ray bursts of class 0 detected in the period under analysis (from September 1, 1995 to December 31, 1995) can be classified as microflares. 2. We suggest to classify as a flare only such an enhancement of the energy release in an active region on the Sun which results in appearance of a substantial amount of accelerated (heated) electrons and, as a consequence, in corresponding enhancement of the x-ray emission flux. 3. The x-ray emission of faint microflares has both bremsstrahlung and thermal origins. Any combination of them is possible. 4. Acceleration of electrons and accompanying bremsstrahlung processes participating in the solar flare mechanism take place already at the initial stage of formation of a current layer, at a certain microlevel which corresponds to elementary acts of energy release. 5. One can suggest that there exists a lower limit in the energy distribution of solar flares, and this limit is formed by microflares of class 0 in the energy release range from 10~(25) to 10~(26) erg.
