High temperature applications are quite common in the food and beverage industry. Whether it is handling heated liquids or pumping cleaning liquids in CIP systems, it is often a challenge for many types of pumps to operate reliably when high temperatures are involved. Service Pump & Supply (SPS) provides pump and motor remanufacturing services. One of its five service centres, based in Huntington, West Virginia, has a history of providing reliable service to the United Dairy plant in Charleston, West Virginia. A major function of the facility is to bottle the milk that comes from family farms located within 100 miles of the plant. It is known for selling milk that is free from antibiotics and artificial growth hormones.
