Wyke Farms, the UK's largest independent cheese producer and milk processor, has announced plans to export the company's award-winning farmhouse cheddar to the US. The traditional, 100-year-old, family recipe produces a cheese unfamiliar to the average American consumer both in terms of flavour and appearance. However, feedback has been extremely positive and at the recent Fancy Food Fair in San Diego a partnership was agreed with a US-based distributor to assist in bringing the cheddar to the US.
