Oceans are of crucial value for umanity as they are considered a ommon heritage and have always aped civilizations and empires, Vaters have provided opportunities explorers, invaders and traders. after the World Wars international conomic dependence increased; ostly through seas. Lately, by mploying nuclear missile firing apable submarine and placing air-laft carrier groups at various geo-blitical manoeuver spaces and oke points in oceans, naval pow-have transformed war into deter-nce. In consonance with existing cets like ever expanding globaliza-n and global economic inter pendence, oceans have convert-diplomacy into 'Blue Diplomacy'. Bing bounded by Asia, Africa, and stralia while housing most of the rid population and hydrocarbon Serves, the Indian Ocean is the vital part of Blue Diplomacy, lerests of naval powers like China the Indian and Atlantic Oceans Id the U.S interests in South ina Sea, East China and Hstralian Seas will further add to nomic interdependence and omacy. Being strategically locat-and a nuclear power, Pakistan is major stakeholder in diplo-eco-mic gains in Indian Ocean Region and is playing its role for bee and stability in IOR.
