S. Sajad Haider. Flight of the Falcon (Lahore: Vanguard Books, 2009), pages. 429rnAir Commodore (R) Sajad Haider's book is a combination of personal memoirs and history of Pakistan Air Force (PAF). The book covers the author's early life, his thrilling career in PAF, his trials and tribulations and his observations about events and personalities. In first few chapters, he describes his childhood and early career in PAF while the main part of the book covers the details of PAF performance in 1965 and 1971 wars. The last segment covers his arrest and trial in connection with the 1973 conspiracy case and finally his acquittance of any wrong doing. He retired from the PAF at the rank of Air Commodore.
