The traditional concept of military strategies is on its wedge to reshape its future role to achieve state objectives. The global concept of conventional military confrontation died with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the new phase of international politics introduced different ways to achieve state objectives. This transitional phase of military strategies multiplied immediately after 9/11 when the United States of America launched its world-wide military campaign against terrorism. Until today no one knows the truth behind 9/11 but the fact is that Iraq and Afghanistan, as sovereign and independent states, suffered the most as a result of 'global war on terror'. There are many arguments behind this war but one thing is very clear, states that now maintain and pose the strongest militaries in the world their generals need to fix strategic objectives with an unconventional approach. In fact this approach is in practice among the most powerful militaries of the world under the shadow and leadership of US-NATO. But this concept was new for the Pakistani military when the Indian Chief of Army Staff General Padmanabhan initiated the process of formulating a new war doctrine on April 28th 2004, titled 'Cold Start which revolves around 'the employment of "integrated battle groups" for offensive operations'.' The execution of this doctrine is the most worrying part for Pakistan because there is a hidden but strategic relationship between the Indian 'Cold Start Doctrine' and the US 'Drone Doctrine', as both doctrines revolve around non-state actors which is in fact not a traditional point of confrontation among military might.
