Among the most haunting memories of my life is the tragic demise of my dearest and most beloved grand daughter, AAMNA. She was a brilliant student whose academic record from Class I to the post graduate class had been enviable. I distinctly remember during my stay in KOHAT with her parents, she had gone to school, as a student of Class I to receive her annual result. When she returned home, she was weeping bitterly; we thought she had failed. AAMNA's parents tried to console her upon which she asked as to why she had been granted 2nd position in the class? We all laughed, saying that 2nd position was also very good.
