As the MoD deepens its discussions on the future of defence, the shape and size of the future land vehicle fleet will undoubtedly be one important and complex debate.rnCurrent operations have favoured wheeled vehicles, but traditionally the majority of vehicles in the British Army's core equipment programme have been tracked. With each playing a crucial role, it is important to retain the capacity and capability to support both types of vehicle, argues Archie Hughes, Chief Executive of the MoD-owned Defence Support Group (DSG).
