摘要

Chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threats are not new. But this doesn't mean that they aren't evolving and it certainly doesn't mean that continued preparation isn't needed, suggests Frank Kaemper from the European Defence Agency (EDA).rnKaemper, a CBRN specialist, tells DMJ that the major threats today come largely from non-state actors. Threats such as these have been around since the time of World War I, and for Kaemper, the non-state actors are, at present, likely to be technologically at the same stage as the chemical warfare state operators of 1914.
