DEPENDING ON WHAT VISION of the future you subscribe to, car ownership may be going the way of the horse and carriage. The theory partially hinges on future self-driving cars catching on or being regulated into existence, at which time human drivers (and consequently car owners) become a liability. There's a lot of road to cover between here and there, but some visionaries are mapping their own automotive future.
