1. At the meeting held in Winnipeg (May 13-16) winners of thefollowing annual competitions of the Association were announced:1. Kaitlyn Boulding (Dalhousie University) was the winner of theDesmond Conacher Scholarship, a $2500 award to assist andencourage young scholars entering graduate school inClassics.2. Matthew Skinner (Humberside Collegiate) won the Grace IrwinAward of $500, presented to secondary school teachers of Latin,Greek and Classical Civilization seeking to upgrade theirabilities.3. Andrew McClellan (UBC) won the Graduate StudentPresentation Prize of $100 for delivering the best paper at theannual meeting. Susan Grouchy (Western University) andJessica Romney (Bristol University) were also finalists.
