EducationandProfessional Appointments: Dr. ?nder Metin received his BSc degree inchemistry from the ?ukurova University in 2002 with the second honor degree. Then, he obtained aresearch assistant position at the Middle East Technical University, where he received his MScdegree in 2006, and PhD degree in 2010 from the Department of Chemistry. During his PhD studies, he studied as a TUBITAK research fellow at Department of Chemistry, Brown University(Rhode Island/USA) in 2009, and at Inorganic Chemistry Research Institute, Darmstadt TechnicalUniversity, Germany in 2010. After he received his PhD degree, he joined the Department ofChemistry, Atatürk University as an Assistant Professor in 2011. He then joined the Sun Research Group led by Prof. Shouheng Sun, who is appeared in the list of Thomson Reuters as oneof the top 10 highly-cited researchers in the subject of Materials ScienceandEngineering, at theDepartment of Chemistry, Brown University as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate in 2012 for one year. After the postdoctoral studies, he rejoined Atatürk University and was promoted to the Associate Professor level in 2013. He thenmoved to Ko? University, Istanbul, as an Associate Professor in 2018.
