摘要

Molecular imprinted polymers (MIPs) became a very important part within the preparation of artificialand strong recognition materials. MIPs bring several advantages, when integrated with potentiometricsensors for pharmaceutical analysis, especially enhanced selectivity for analytes (drugs) in differentpharmaceutical or biological matrices. An overview on the use of MIPs as recognition element inpotentiometric sensors for pharmaceutical assay is presented covering different synthesis procedures,sensor assembly, and selectivity coefficients for interferences. Also, summary of linearity range, lowerlimit of detection, slope and working pH for each sensor are presented.
