摘要

This work reported the amplified voltammetric detection of histone deacetylase (HDAC) usingferrocene (Fc)-capped gold nanoparticle/streptavidin (SA-AuNPs) conjugates. The acetylated peptidesubstrates immobilized on the gold electrodes were deacetylated by HDAC, resulting in the appearanceof free amine groups on electrode surface. The exposed primary amines were then derivatized withbiotin for the attachment of Fc-capped SA-AuNPs conjugates. The voltammetric responses were foundto be proportional to the HDAC concentrations ranging from 0.1 to 30 nM with a detection limit of 20pM.
