摘要

The analysis of the turbulent fluid flow through a circular pipe having closed inlet with single radial side mass injection has been carried out by using modified ? ?? model, considering streamline curvature effects by modifying the model constants. No main flow has been considered at the inlet. The flow pattern of the fluid has been investigated by varying the location of the side mass injection site where the side injection extent has been kept constant throughout the study. The principle observation from the analysis is that the location of injection site is one of the most important parameters influencing the flow pattern of the side injected fluid. The detail flow visualization, estimation of velocity and vorticity distribution throughout the flow field has been presented.
