Weconductedacomprehensiveanalysisofcodonusagebias(CUB)basedontheavailablenon-redundantfull-lengthcDNA(nrFLcDNA)andexpressedsequencetags(ESTs)dataofcultivarMicro-TomandevaluatedtheassociationsofobservedCUBandmeasurementsoftranscriptionalandtranslationaleffectiveness.Theanalysispresentedinourstudysuggestsacorrelation,whichisnegativebuthighlycorrelatedbetweenAxis1andGCsub3s/sub(r#xA0;=#xA0;minus;#xA0;0.827,P#xA0;#xA0;0.01),indicatingthatmutationalbiashasasignificantanddominantrepressiveroletothechoicesofGCsub3/sub.Wealsoobservedastrongpositivecorrelationbetweencodonadaptationindex(CAI)andtranslationaladaptationindex(tAIsubg/sub)(0.407,P#xA0;#xA0;0.01),whichdemonstratesthefacilitationofefficienttranslationbytheoptimalcodonusagepatternsofthehighlyexpressedgenes.WebelievethatthecompletesetofoptimalcodonusagepatternsdetectedinthisstudywillserveasamodeltoenhancethetransgenesisinthestudiedcultivarofemSolanumlycopersicum/em./p/div
