摘要

Founded in 1927, the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA) is the leading international body representing the interests of library and information services and their users. The IFLA is organized into more than forty Sections that are devoted to promoting awareness of a particular issue related to library services as well as a number of Strategic Programmes that are a source of information on topics such as preservation and conservation or copyright and other legal matters. There are currently 1,400 IFLA member organizations from 140 countries around the world.
