Efeito do tratamento de sementes de algod?o na dinamica populacional de Pratylenchus brachyurus em condi??es de estresse hídrico. Nematropica 42:84-90. Objetivou-se avaliar a eficácia do tratamento de sementes no controle de Pratylenchus brachyurus e sobre parametros de desenvolvimento de plantas de algodoeiro submetidas a dois regimes hídricos. Sementes da cultivar FiberMax 966 foram tratadas com produtos contendo imidacloprido + tiodicarbe, piraclostrobina + tiofanato metílico + fipronil, abamectina + azoxistrobina + mefenoxam + fludioxinil + tiametoxam em diferentes doses. As plantas foram submetidas a dois regimes hídricos, ausência e presen?a de estresse hídrico, mantendo-se 30 e 60% da capacidade de campo, respectivamente, estabelecidos 15 dias após a inocula??o do nematoide. Aos 60 dias após a inocula??o, realizaram-se avalia??es da massa fresca da parte aérea e da raiz e total de nematoides (solo+raiz). Os resultados obtidos mostraram que todos os parametros foram influenciados pelo tratamento de sementes na presen?a e ausência de estresse hídrico. O tratamento com imidacloprido + tiodicarbe proporcionou maior incremento na massa fresca de parte aérea. Quanto à massa fresca da raiz, todos os tratamentos químicos proporcionaram melhor desenvolvimento radicular, exceto abamectina + azoxistrobina + mefenoxam + fludioxinil + tiametoxam, em ambos os regimes hídricos. O tratamento contendo piraclostrobina + tiofanato metílico + fipronil proporcionou melhor controle de P. brachyurus na ausência de estresse hídrico. Os tratamentos imidacloprido + tiodicarbe, piraclostrobina + tiofanato metílico + fipronil, abamectina + azoxistrobina + mefenoxam + fludioxinil + tiametoxam n?o apresentaram diferen?a no controle de nematoides em rela??o ao estresse hídrico.Ribeiro, L. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of seed treatment on the control of Pratylenchus brachyurus and on cotton plant development parameters under two water regimes. Seeds of the cotton cultivar FiberMax 966 were treated with products containing imidacloprid + thiodicarb, pyraclostrobin + thiophanate-methyl + fipronil, abamectin + azoxystrobin + mefenoxam + fludioxonil + thiamethoxam at varying doses. The plants were subjected to two water regimes (absence and presence of water stress), maintaining 30 and 60% field capacity 15 days after nematode inoculation. At 60 days after inoculation, the aerial part and root fresh mass were evaluated, together with total nematodes (soil + root). The results obtained show that all parameters were influenced by seed treatment in the presence and absence of water stress. Treatment with imidacloprid + thiodicarb resulted in greater aerial part fresh mass. For root fresh mass, all chemistry treatment improved root development, except abamectin + azoxystrobin + mefenoxam + fludioxonil + thiamethoxam, under both water regimes. The treatment containing pyraclostrobin + thiophanate-methyl + fipronil improved control of P. brachyurus in the absence of water stress. The results for treatments containing imidacloprid + thiodicarb, pyraclostrobina + thiophanate-methyl + fipronil, abamectin + azoxystrobin + mefenoxam + fludioxonil + thiamethoxam showed no difference in the control of nematodes in relation to water stress.
