Mathematical Sciences Publishers (msp.org) is pleased toannounce the publication of three new volumes devoted tothe careers of Karen Uhlenbeck, Joan Birman, and Dusa McDuffas part of its electronic archive of mathematicians ofnote, Celebratio Mathematica. The work was supported withfunding from the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute(msri.org) and spearheads an intensive project now underwayto develop the archive’s holdings on the careers andaccomplishments of women mathematicians. The supportmade it possible to undertake a number of special projectsfor these volumes, one of which we highlight here: a newinterview with Karen Uhlenbeck by Allyn Jackson (the latterneeding no introduction to readers of the Notices).
